The Fairly Current Show

#64 Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad

From issues of constitutional and civil liberties to the politicisation of everyday life, the events of the past few weeks have provoked much reflection, argument and soul-searching in Malaysians. To make some sense of all this, we speak with PAS politician Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad on the caning of Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno, the cow-head protest in Shah Alam, and the regulations surrounding the exhibition and sale of alcohol in the state of Selangor. Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad is a member of the PAS central working committee, and Member of Parliament for Kuala Selangor. He was a student leader in the 1970s and 80s, during his university days in the UK.
