It has been more than a month since the High Court ruling which allowed the Roman Catholic publication, the Herald Weekly, use of the word 'Allah' in their newsletter. Since then, that ruling has been stayed while numerous churches, mosques, a Christian convent, and a sikh gurdwara have been defiled. How has the 'Allah' issue evolved in civil society? Or has it devolved? How has Malaysian civil society responded in times of such crises? This week we speak with Rev. Sivin Kit to gain a perspective on the roles that ordinary Malaysians like ourselves can play in de-fraying this highly contentious issue. Rev. Sivin Kit is currently the pastor of Bangsar Lutheran Church and co-initiators for the Micah Mandate and Friends in Conversation.

Synopsis
