As Malaysia faces a prolonged crisis of leadership, the image and ideas of Malaysia's first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman have become popularised again by civil society groups, think tanks, and the mainstream media. We speak with Sharyn Shufiyan, Tunku's great granddaughter, on how he might have taken to blogging if he was still alive, as well as her vision for Malaysia. She also tells us why her family never got into politics and dynasty-building. Sharyn Shufiyan is a citizen journalist, and an environmentalist with Wild Asia.
