Earlier this month, Patrick Saw's t-shirt stall in Central Market was raided by a team from the Ministry of Home Affairs' Publication and Quranic Texts Control Division. The ministry officials confiscated over 80 t-shirts - including Pop images of Bruce Lee and Mao Zedong portrayed as 'Mickey Maos' - ostensibly because they promoted Communism.
Patrick talks to us about the raids on his stalls, t-shirt humour, Communism and Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak's recent visit to China.
Patrick Saw designs and sells his satirical t-shirts at his T Junction stalls in Central Market and Bangsar Village I.
